ANA to Discontinue AirJapan Brand, Final Bangkok Service on March 29 2026

Japan’s ANA Holdings announced on October 30 2025 that it will retire its medium‑haul carrier brand AirJapan by the end of March 2026 (“dual‑brand” structure combining ANA and Peach in its place).

AirJapan launched in 2024 with routes from Narita to Bangkok, Seoul Incheon and Singapore using Boeing 787‑8 aircraft. Its final flight will be NQ 2 (Bangkok → Narita) departing just after midnight on March 29, 2026.

The restructuring reflects mounting pressure from aircraft delivery delays, the grounding of Boeing 787s and the broader geopolitical uncertainties that have weighed on the airline industry. ANA says the move will allow it to focus resources on the ANA and Peach brands and strengthen profitability and competitiveness.

Going forward the operating company of AirJapan (Air Japan Co., Ltd.) will continue to operate aircraft, but they will carry the ANA brand, consolidating operations under the full‑service carrier model.
