The number of foreign visitors to Thailand in February 2025 was approximately 3.119 million, down approximately 589,000 from January 2025, when the number was approximately 3.709 million.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS) of Thailand released statistics on the number of foreign visitors to Thailand in February 2025.

According to data released by MOTS, the number of foreign visitors to Thailand in February 2025 was 3,119,445. This is a significant decrease of 589,657 from January, when the number was 3,709,102.

February in Thailand continues to be the best season for the dry season, and during this season with good weather, there tends to be a large number of foreign tourists visiting Thailand from cold countries in addition to countries with many regular visitors such as Malaysia and China. However, since many foreign tourists visited Thailand in January during the holiday season, it is conceivable that the number of tourists in February decreased as a reaction to that. In particular, the number of tourists from China decreased by 300,000. The Chinese New Year was at the end of January, and many tourists from China visited Thailand in January, so this reaction is thought to have influenced the overall significant decrease.
