Koh Kradan in Thailand's Trang province named world's best beach for 2023
Koh Kradan, an island in the Andaman Sea in Trang Province, southern Thailand, has been named 'World's Best Beach 2023' by the UK's World Beach Guide website.

The 'World Beach Guide' website listed Koh Kradan in its top 100 for 2023, as well as his four other beaches in Thailand below.
9th: Railay Beach (Krabi Province)
18th: Freedom Beach (Phuket Province)
21. Laem Haad Beach (Yao Yai, Phang-nga Province)
44. Tanot Bay Beach (Koh Tao, Surat Thani Province)

Part of Hat Chao Mai National Park, Koh Kradan is known for its beautiful stretch of powdery white sand beach. Despite being only a few kilometers from mainland Thailand, it is largely untouched and protected. Koh Kradan is considered the most beautiful of the islands off Trang. The island's main beach, Paradise Beach, is particularly popular with tourists.

Central Pattana will hold the Thai New Year Songkran event "THAILAND’S SONGKRAN FESTIVAL 2023 – Songkran Entertainment" at 38 central shopping centers in Thailand from April 7th (Friday) to 16th (Sunday), 2023.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand expects 18 billion baht revenue for Songkran 2023
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced that it expects revenue of 18 billion baht from both Thai and foreign tourists during Songkran in 2023.

Thailand Tourism Authority (TAT) governor Yuthasak Supasorn said he expects a total of 3.8 million domestic trips and 300,000 trips by foreign tourists during Songkran.

Various events are planned in various parts of Thailand for Songkran in 2023.

The Yen Tua La Maha Songkran event and International Amazing Splash 2023 will take place April 13-15 at Soi Chulalongkorn 5 in Bangkok. Many temples in Bangkok, such as Wat Pho, Wat Arun, and Wat Lhakhang, also hold traditional events during Songkran in Thailand.

The Old House in Chiang Mai, Ban Chiang World Heritage Cultural Square in Udon Thani, Andamanda Water Park in Phuket and the Phra Pradaeng district in Samut Prakan are also hosting Songkran events from 21-23 April.

Thai AirAsia launches new Chiang Mai-Beijing (Daxing) route from April 30
Low-cost Carrier Thai AirAsia has announced that it would launch a new direct flight between Chiang Mai and Beijing, China from April 30, 2023.

Daily operation of one flight a day. The aircraft used is Airbus A320neo (186 economy seats).
