Thai Lion Air starts international flights from and to Suvarnabhumi Airport
Low-cost carrier Thai Lion Air announced that it will open regular flights to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok from March 10, 2022.

Thai Lion Air currently uses only Don Muang Airport, but by opening the departure and arrival flights of Suvarnabhumi Airport, there will offer flights at two airports in Bangkok.

The Jakarta line to / from Suvarnabhumi Airport operates once a week (Thursday). The aircraft used is an Airbus A330. The flight schedule is as follows.

Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) ⇔ Jakarta (March 10, 2022 ~)

Thai AirAsia X to resume Narita-Bangkok route from May
The low-cost carrier Thai AirAsia X has suspended flights between Japan's Narita Airport and Bangkok for a long time.

Thai AirAsia X announced that it plans to resume this direct flight between Narita and Bangkok from May 1st. Thai AirAsia X is currently offering promotion rate.

Fees including various expenses such as airport charges start from 15,500 yen for departures from Narita and 4,890 baht for departures from Bangkok (both only for BIG members). For reservations made by March 31, flight changes can be made at no charge.

The flight schedule from May 1st to June 30th is as follows.

Thailand Test & Go Allows domestic connections
In Thailand, some immigration restrictions have been relaxed since March 1st, and domestic connections on dedicated flights, which were previously limited to sandbox programs, are now available for non-quarantine entry by using Test & Go scheme.

At this time, the flights between Bangkok and Phuket operated by Bangkok Airways and Thai Smile and the Bangkok-Samui route operated by Bangkok Airways are eligible for domesatic connections flights.
