Happy Loy Krathong

Please pray on Loy Krathong day so that many of our customers will be happy at our shop.
Thailand's Loy Krathong festival is also called the water festival. "Loy Krathong'' is an ancient custom among Thai people of floating(loy) lanterns(krathong) down the river.

At Loy Krathong, candles and incense sticks are placed on top of lanterns made from banana trunks and leaves, and the lanterns are floated down the river in hopes of driving away bad things and bringing good things.

All the staff at 101 Premier Massage pray on Loy Krathong Day, hoping that our customers will have a great time at our shop this year and every year.

Thai government warns of safety measures for Loy Krathong festival on Friday, November 15

The Thai government has announced that it will step up safety measures for the Loy Krathong festival scheduled for Friday, November 15.

Popular spots along the Chao Phraya River, including Phra Phutthayotpha Bridge Pier, Si Phraya Pier, Asiatique Pier, and Iconsiam Pier, are expected to attract large numbers of locals and tourists. Relevant agencies will be mobilized to ensure a safe and orderly festival.

Detailing the safety measures, Thai government deputy spokesman said the Maritime Department has issued three key directives to regulate vessel operations on the Chao Phraya River during the festival. The first directive designates the river as a restricted navigation zone. The second directive outlines specific safety measures for the Loy Krathong festival. The third directive advises vessels to take special care on the night of the festival.

The public and tourists are urged to follow the instructions of pier staff to ensure a smooth enjoyment of the Loy Krathong festival. If you have any concerns about safety on the water, please contact the Marine Bureau’s 24-hour hotline at 1199.
