30 people die from heatstroke in Thailand since the beginning of 2024

Thailand's Ministry of Health issued a warning on April 24, 2024, stating that 30 people have died from heatstroke since the beginning of 2024.

Suvarnabhumi ranks 58th in the British research firm Skytrax's airport rankings.

In the 2024 airport rankings compiled by Skytrax, a British research company specializing in the aviation industry, based on the evaluations of airport users, Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport has risen from 68th place the previous year to 58th place.

The top ranked airports in this survey were Hamad Airport in Qatar in first place, Changi Airport in Singapore in second place, Seoul Incheon Airport in third place, and Haneda Airport in fourth place.

Thai AirAsia will resume Bangkok Suvarnabhumi - Hat Yai route from July 2024

Thai AirAsia announced that it will resume direct flights between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and Hat Yai from July 1, 2024.

There is one round trip per day. The aircraft used is an Airbus A320 (180 economy seats).
