Kobayashi Pharmaceutical manufactures “Netsusama Sheet” in Thailand
Kobayashi Pharmaceutical (Osaka City) has announced plans to establish a local subsidiary in Thailand, "KOBAYASHI Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Thailand)," to manufacture forehead cooling sheets "Netsusama Sheets" starting in September 2025.

According to the company's PR, usage has become a habit, especially overseas due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and demand is expected to continue to grow. Currently, "Netsusama Sheet" is produced in Japan and China, and in China there is an urgent need to further increase production capacity in response to growing demand. Under these circumstances, the company has decided to establish a local subsidiary in Thailand with the aim of stably supplying Netsusama Sheets in Southeast Asia through local production and local consumption.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) requests Thai government to extend visa-free stay period for tourists from the US and Europe to 90 days
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has requested the Thai government to extend the visa-free stay period for tourists from the United States and Europe to 90 days. The measure is expected to increase tourism revenue from US and European tourists by 40%.

Thailand currently issues tourist visas on arrival for over 60 countries, which allow you to stay in Thailand for 30 days.

Meanwhile, temporary visas for Russian tourists for 90 days were issued in November 2023, leading to increased revenue for the tourism industry. Based on this result, a proposal was made to extend the 90-day stay period on a tourist visa to tourists from the United States and Europe.

In 2023, more than 100,000 foreign tourists, mainly from the US, UK, Sweden and Germany, applied for 60-day visas. It is estimated that the 90-day extension currently proposed by TAT would result in at least 1 million additional nights.
