The number of foreigners visiting Thailand in September 2023 was approximately 2.13 million, a decrease of approximately 340,000 from August 2023, which was 2.47 million.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS) has released statistics on the number of foreigners entering Thailand in September 2023.

According to data released by MOTS, the number of foreigners who entered Thailand in September 2023 was 2,130,596.

The number of foreigners entering Thailand in August 2023 was 2,468,042, which is a significant decrease of approximately 340,000 people. There will be 230,000 more people in June 2023 than in May. In July, there was a steady increase of 250,000 people compared to June, but in August there was a slight decrease of 22,000 people. The slight decrease from July to August and the large decrease from September to August are thought to be largely due to the decrease in the number of Chinese tourists. Also, since September is the rainy season, we imagine there were fewer tourists. Expect the number of tourists to increase from October onwards, as the rainy season ends and towards the end of the year.
