Bangkok Yellow Line opened all stations from June 19, 2023
Bangkok's first monorail Yellow Line is currently in trial operation at 22 stations (22 out of 23 stations, excluding Hua Mak Station) from June 12 (Monday), but from June 19, 2023, all stations has started running.
The trial operation runs until July 2, and you can ride for free from 6am to 9pm every day during this period. From July 3rd, normal operation will start, with fares ranging from 15 Baht to 45 Baht, and operating from 6:00 am to midnight.

'Sukhothai Loy Krathong Festival' and 'Pattaya International Fireworks Festival' won 2023 Gold Award from IFEA Asia
Thailand's "Sukhothai Loy Krathong Festival" and "Pattaya International Fireworks Festival" won the Gold Award in the "(Nighttime Economy/Tourism) Culture and History Festival" category selected by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), an international organization that supports festivals and events. This award is given to festivals and events that demonstrate outstanding promotion and management.
Sukhothai Loy Krathong Festival is held annually at Sukhothai Historical Park. Decorated lanterns called Krathong are released on the waterside to enshrine the goddess of water, and various events are held such as lighting up the park, cultural performances, and fireworks.
Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is a fireworks display annually held at Pattaya Beach, and in addition to fireworks, it is an event where music concerts, entertainment, street markets, street food dishes, and cultural activities are held.
Khorat Geopark Officially Recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark
Khorat Geopark in Nakhon Ratchasima was officially recognized as the second UNESCO Global Geopark in Thailand by the UNESCO Executive Board on May 17, 2023.
The Sakaerat area of Nakhon Ratchasima Province was declared a biosphere reserve in 1976, and the forest complexes of Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai forest in this area were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2005. With the recognition of Khorat Geopark as a UNESCO Global Geopark, Nakhon Ratchasima now has three regions designated as a UNESCO Heritage City.
Khorat Global Geopark is his second global Geopark in Thailand after Satun UNESCO Global Geopark in Satun province.
Geoparks also contribute to national income, so relevant agencies are encouraged to promote tourism in these locations and utilize them for local tourism development.
New road to connect Phuket and Phang Nga completed The Department of Rural Roads (DRR) of Thailand announced on June 8, 2023 that the 4.2-kilometer Na Klang-Ao Jik Road (1042 rural road) connecting Phuket and Phang Nga was completed. Na Klang-Ao Jik Road is a four-lane road that is expected to be used by tourists traveling from Phuket to the attractions of Phang Nga province. The completion of the road is also expected to make transportation between the two prefectures easier, boosting the local economy and tourism.

The 16th Thai Festival in Nagoya 2023 will be held at Edion Hisaya Square on June 17-18
On June 17th (Sat) and 18th (Sun), 2023, the “16th Thai Festival in Nagoya 2023” will be held at Edion Hisaya Square (Hisaya Odori Park Hisaya Square) for the first time in four years.
