The classic greeting of the Chinese New Year in Thailand, "新正如意","新年发财"
In Thailand, where there are many Chinese people, the word "新正如意" is often seen during the Chinese New Year (Thai language: Turchin, ตรุษจีน).

It is more common in Thailand than the "新年快乐"("新年快楽") used as a greeting for the Chinese New Year in Greater China. After this, it is standard to continue with "新年发财"("新年發財") and say "新正如意","新年发财".

The practice of the Teochews, who make up the majority of Chinese living in Thailand, was introduced and established, and is pronounced in the Teochew dialect as Cinchia Yui and Cinny Hochai. It is written ซิงเจียหยู่อี่ ซิงนี้ฮ้วกไช้ (or ซิงเจียหยู่อี่ ซิงนี้ฮวกไช้) in Thai.

Looking at the website of Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, where it originated, "On the morning of the Chinese New Year, we visited the homes of relatives and acquaintances, and greeted each other with auspicious words such as "新正如意"、"恭贺发财"、"添寿添福".
