Thailand plans to deliver AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine more than one million times by the weekend of the week of June 21
According to the Public Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, more than one million doses of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine were delivered to the Thai Public Health Ministry on Friday, June 18, and after June 19. Will be distributed to throughout Thailand.
The first lot of 1.8 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine produced by Thai pharmaceutical company Siam Bioscience was distributed to Thailand on June 4th. The second lot was delivered on June 16th and is currently being distributed in Thailand.
According to the Thai Public Health Ministry, as of June 16, People in Thailand has inoculated more than 7.2 million Covid-19 vaccines, most of which were Sinovac vaccines. The AstraZeneca vaccine has been given at only 1.9 million doses.

Thailand, some Covid-19 restriction will be eased from 21 June.
the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration announced new zoning measures on Friday, June 18th.
The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has defined four provinces -Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan- as dark red zones with strict Covid-19 control.
The Red Zoni, which will be newly defined from June 21, are the following 11 provinces. --Chachon Sao, Chonburi, Trang, Nakhon Pathom, Patani, Phetchaburi, Songkhla, Samut Sakhon (formerly Dark Red Zone), Saraburi, Yarra and Nakhon Pathom.
Nine provinces have been designated as orange zones. --Chanthaburi, Nakhon Ratchasimato, Prachuwap Kiri Khan, Ayutthaya, Lanon, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Sakao, Samut Songkhram.
The other 53 provinces are as the yellow zone.
A CCSA spokesman said they plan to ease some disease control restrinctions starting Monday, June 21st.
In the Dark Red Zone, activities of 50 people or less are possible. Air-conditioned restaurants can open up to 50% of customers. It is also open until 11:00 pm. However, the sale and drinking of alcoholic beverages in the store remains prohibited. Department stores and shopping centers are open until 9 pm. Outdoor sports fields and well-ventilated sports facilities can be opened without an spectator. The school remains closed.
In the red zone, activities of 100 people or less are possible. The restaurant has no limit on the number of dining customers and can be open until 11 pm. The sale and drinking of alcohol in the store remains prohibited. Shopping centers and department stores are open as usual in the Red Zone, but promotional events are prohibited. The school can be opened. The sports facility is available until 9 pm with a limited number of spectators.
In the Orange Zone, activities of 150 people or less are possible. The restaurant can operate normally, but the sale and drinking of alcohol is prohibited. Shopping centers, department stores and schools are open as usual. Sports facilities can be held with a limited number of spectators.
In the yellow zone, activities of 200 people or less are possible. Restaurants, schools, shopping centers and department stores are open as usual. Sports facilities can be operated with a limited number of spectators.
In all zones, people are required to wear face masks in public. The entertainment venue remains closed.

Thailand to reopen for foreign tourists from October
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha declared that fully opened the Thai border within 120 days from June 16 for foreign travelers who had been vaccinated without quarantine.
In Thailand, the "Sandbox" project to accept foreign tourists will start in Phuket from July 1st. In Chiang Mai and Pattaya, we are aiming to accept foreign tourists in the same way as this “sandbox” project of Phuket.
According to Prime Minister Prayut's declaration, vaccinated travelers will be able to enter the country without quarantine and travel freely in all areas including Bangkok by October.

Nok Air, free checked baggage for a limited time as a vaccination benefit
Thailand's LCC Nok Air is hosting a free checked baggage campaign as part of its vaccination promotion efforts.
Vaccinators do not need to pay extra for checked baggage up to 15kg on all routes operated by the company. If the vaccination has been completed, it is applicable every day, and if it is inoculated once, it is only available on Wednesday.
No prior procedure is required, and you can receive benefits on the spot if you show proof of inoculation at the check-in counter at the airport. Currently, the applicable reservation period is until June 30th, and the applicable boarding period is from June 15th to July 31st.
