According to data released by MOTS, the number of foreign visitors to Thailand in June 2025 was 2,322,772. This is a slight increase of 56,198 from 2,266,574 in May.

There was a sharp decrease of approximately 1.44 million visitors in four months, with a decrease of approximately 589,000 from January to February, approximately 399,000 from February to March, approximately 173,000 from March to April, and approximately 280,000 from April to May. There was a slight increase of 56,000 people from May to June, but the impact was not enough to make up for the sharp decline in the first half of the year. Also, compared to the same month last year, June saw a significant decrease of more than 15%. In particular, the number of tourists from countries that had many visitors to Thailand in 2024, such as China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Cambodia, has dropped sharply. Thailand's economy is currently in a rather sluggish state. We sincerely hope that the number of tourists from overseas will increase from July, revitalizing Thailand's tourism industry and improving the Thai economy.
