Thai VietJet launches regular charter flights between Naha and Bangkok
Thai Vietjet, a low-cost airline, has announced that it will start regular charter flights between Naha and Bangkok from March 16, 2023.

Two flights a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. The aircraft used is an Airbus A320. Economy class 180 seats.

The flight schedule is as follows.
Naha ⇔ Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) (From March 16, 2023)
VZ3801 OKA 16:00 BKK 18:50 Thu/Sun
VZ3800 BKK 08:50 OKA 15:00 Thu/Sun

Currently, there are no direct flights connecting Naha and Bangkok, so this VietJet direct flight will be the only direct flight.

Czech film 'Ostrov' shot in Phuket and Krabi released in Prague on February 1, 2023
Filmed in Phuket and Krabi, the Czech film 'Ostrov' premiered at the Lucerna Cinema in Prague on February 1, 2023. The beautiful nature of Phuket and Krabi can be seen throughout the film.

Ostroff is a romantic adventure comedy starring Jiří Langmajer and Jana Plodková, in which a man and a woman end up on a beautiful deserted island.

During the filming of Ostroff, lead actor Jiří Langmajer has been receiving a lot of attention by posting photos and videos taken in Thailand on his Instagram, which has over 200,000 followers.

Jana Plodková, the lead actress, described her days making films in Thailand as "The entire filming and stay were a gift I never dreamed of." Every morning before filming, she woke up around 6am to enjoy the empty beach and the sunrise.

As of February 2nd, Ostrov has been released at 180 cinemas in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

TAT Participated in Tourism Exchange Event in New Delhi, India
The 14th South Asian Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) was held from 9th to 11th February 2023 at India Expo Mart, New Delhi, India.

SATTE is India's largest travel expo and this year's event attracted around 35,000 attendees and 1,200 sales booths.

This SATTE 2023 was attended by many Thai tourism stakeholders, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thai Airways International, Thai Smile Airways, 40 tourist agencies, the Thai Travel Agency Association, and the Phuket Tourism Association.

TAT Governor, Yuthasak Supasorn said SATTE 2023 was the important chance for TAT and Thai tourism operators to meet with overseas partners to showcase that Thailand's tourism has already fully resumed.

Tourism Authority of Thailand Announces Timeline for Phase 5 of Thailand's Domestic Tourism Promotion Campaign 'We Travel Together'
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the timeline for the fifth phase of Thailand's domestic tourism promotion campaign, 'We Travel Together'.

According to TAT's announcement, the budget for the fifth phase is 2,016 million baht. It is scheduled to run from March to the end of April 2023. The budget has already been approved by the Thai Cabinet.

The outline of the program of the fifth phase is as follows.

Program name: We Travel Together (Phase 5)
Program Duration: March 11 - April 30, 2023
Available dates: March 8 - April 27, 2023
Subsidy: 40% of room rate (up to 3,600 baht per room per night)
Number of Program Uses: Up to 5 rooms per person
Number of available hotel rooms: about 560,000 hotel rooms in Thailand
Other subsidies: 600 baht voucher for meals and services
Available to: All Thai citizens over the age of 18 with a valid ID card

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Holds Valentine's Day Marriage Event "Silom of Love @Bangrak"
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will host the Silom of Love @Bangrak, an event to present commemorative gifts to couples who register their marriage at Bangrak District Office in Bangkok on Valentine's Day.

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said that on Valentine's Day, couples who register their marriage at the Bangrak District Office in Bangkok will be invited to a special office on the 17th floor of the United Center Building for a special ceremony and commemorative gifts. They can also participate in a drawing to win a golden marriage certificate (limited to 10 couples).

Participation in the event is limited to 599. They must pre-register by February 10, 2023. (Registration ends when capacity is reached)
