Nok Air opens exclusive lounge at Don Mueang Airport
Thai low-cost airline Nok Air has opened a dedicated lounge inside Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport.

The lounge is available to Nok Air membership program Nok Smile Plus members or passengers with ticket type Nok Max.

Nok Smile Plus is an elite member of Nok Air's membership program, Nok Fan Club. Nok Fan Club membership status is divided into four categories: NOK SKY, NOK STAR, NOK SMILE and NOK SMILE PLUS. Nok Fan Club members will earn 1 Nok point for every 5 baht flown and will upgrade their membership level once the required number of Nok points has been accumulated. The amounts or points required to upgrade are:

・NOK SKY -> Beginner Membership Status When applying to join the Nok Fan Club, everyone receives this right immediately.
・NOK STAR -> Upgrade to NOK STAR by collecting 1,500 Nok points (7,500 baht spent on flights) in one year from 1st January to 31st December.
・NOK SMILE-> Upgrade from NOK STAR to NOK SMILE when you accumulates 9,000 Nok points (45,000 baht for flight fare) in one year from 1st January to 31st December. Priority lane check-in available (Don Mueang Airport)
・NOK SMILE PLUS -> Upgrade from NOK SMILE to NOK SMILE PLUS when you accumulate 15,000 Nok points (75,000 baht for flight fare) in one year from January 1st to December 31st. Priority lane check-in available (Don Mueang Airport) Nok premium seat available Extra 10kg checked baggage weight free

flydubai to launch scheduled non-stop flights between Krabi and Dubai from January 2023
Low-cost airline flydubai has announced that it will operate regular non-stop flights between Dubai, UAE and Krabi, Thailand from 20 January 2023.

Daily operation of one flight a day. The aircraft used is Boeing 737MAX8.

Low-cost airline flydubai has announced that it will begin regular non-stop flights between Dubai, UAE and Pattaya, Thailand (Utapao Airport) from January 20, 2023.

Daily operation of one flight a day. The aircraft used is Boeing 737MAX8.

ZIPAIR Launches Tokyo-Bangkok Flight Tickets from March 2023 onwards
ZIPAIR, a low-cost airline under JAL, has started selling tickets for the Narita-Bangkok route from March 26, 2023 to October 28, 2023 next year.

As before, there will be one round trip per day. The aircraft used is a Boeing 787-8.

The flight schedule is as follows.
Narita ⇔ Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi)

ZG52 BKK23:10 NRT07:25(+1) every day

Since ZIPAIR is affiliated with JAL, it offers a high level of service at the same level as JAL, and at the same time, it is a low-cost airline company, so it has a reasonable price, and has gained high popularity from the beginning of the service. Thai Airways turns profitable in July-September quarter
From 2021, Thai Airways International, which went bankrupt due to the application of business reorganization procedures and is currently undergoing management restructuring, announced its financial results for the period from July to September 2022. The operating balance turned to a profit of 3.92 billion baht. However, the final profit and loss was a deficit of 4.79 billion baht due to foreign exchange losses and other factors.

Passenger numbers recovered to 2.68 million from about 100,000 in the same period last year, resulting in revenue of 32.86 billion baht, up 582% year-on-year. Cargo and mail sales also increased by 148% year-on-year to 6.43 billion baht.

As the demand for travel to Thailand is expected to continue to increase, it is expected that Thai Airways' finances will improve in the future.
